Big City Bread Cafe is a family owned and operated restaurant, retail bakery, and coffee house located in an eclectic neighborhood two blocks from downtown Athens Georgia. The cafe is open seven days a week serving breakfast, lunch, and brunch on Sundays. A wonderful selection of fresh baked breads, pastries, and cakes made in-house using quality ingredients are on offer daily for dining in or special order. The cafe also proudly serves locally roasted Jittery Joe's coffee and espresso drinks.

The cafe is open daily from 7:00 am until 9:30 pm, closing Sundays at 3:00.
Breakfast is served Monday through Friday 7:00 am - 10:30 am & Saturday 7:00 - 12:00
Lunch is served Monday through Friday beginning at 10:30 and Saturday beginning at 12:00
We are now offering extended hours for our lunch menu plus daily special plates for dinner service.
Brunch is served on Sundays from 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
