Big City Bread Cafe is a family owned and operated restaurant, retail bakery, and coffee house located in an eclectic neighborhood two blocks from downtown Athens, Georgia. The cafe is open seven days a week serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner Monday through Saturday, with brunch on Sundays. A special dinner menu featuring a variety of beer and wine is now available from 530 to 930.
A wonderful selection of fresh baked breads, pastries, and cakes made in-house using quality ingredients are on offer daily for dining in or special order. The cafe also proudly serves locally roasted Jittery Joe's coffee and espresso drinks.

Breakfast is served Monday through Friday 7:00 am - 10:30 am, Saturday 7:00 - 12:00
Lunch is served Monday through Friday beginning at 10:30 and Saturday beginning at 12:00
Dinner is Monday through Saturday, 5:30 pm 'til 9:30 pm.
